Gentleness – “Walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Eph. 4:1-3
May your Holy Spirit help me to be gentle to my husband, to show him kindness, and respect. May your Holy Spirit help my husband to be gentle with me. Gentleness and kindness are so important in a marriage – in a world where we live with such harsh realities, and a go-get it attitude that’s needed for success. May our gentleness to each other offer each other a soft place to fall, a safe and secure place from the harshness of this world that we live in.
May you, Heavenly Father, change our hearts and our minds to love each other well – so that we may bring honour and glory to your name. A strong and vibrant marriage speaks volumes to the world of your love and commitment to us, your people. So, even if the world doesn’t understand, at least let them see your love – in a picture of a strong, and gentle and kind marriage.
May you forever be with us.
In Jesus Name.
